Because invasive fungal otitis media is often misdiagnosed as malignant otitis externa. Early diagnosis, aggressive debridement, antimycotic therapy and resituation of immunocompromised conditions are required. The author report a case of invasive aspergillus infection of ear with facial paralysis who was treated with open cavity mastoidectomy and maintenance of antifungal drug.
